Join us on April 27th at 6:30pm at Milliken Auditorium in Traverse City for a night of community, connection and celebration as The Letter League documentary film lights up the silver screen in Michigan for the first time!

The film will begin promptly at 6:30 after a brief introduction and will run for 30 minutes. At the conclusion of the film, there will be a 30 minute Q&A with Heather, along with the film’s Writer/Director Michelle Boyaner, Cinematographer/Editor Barbara Green, Motion Design/Collage Animation Hillary Carlip and Producer Wendy Zipes Hunter.

This screening is open to the public. Please feel free to share this listing with friends who you would like to attend the screening with.

You will not receive a ticket for this event. Your name will be added to a guest list and you will be asked to check in with your name(s) at the door. Each guest will need to register online before the event. You will receive an email confirmation after your order is processed.

Pricing for the event is on a sliding scale. Please pay what you are able.

The Letter League Documentary tells the story of artist Heather Spooner of Ampersand Lettering Lab and the adult pen pal program she created during the 2020 pandemic, featuring the poignant and humorous stories of connection and humanity that came from it.
